When she was growing up, Candice was an athlete, and she continued to play lacrosse at Rutgers University while studying political science. While she had ambitions of going to law school, Candice found herself in the publishing industry after graduation, where she’s worked on licensing content for nearly 20 years. When an opportunity presented itself at Shutterstock, she jumped at the chance to apply.
Candice takes her role of empowering customers seriously. She loves working with the company’s sellers to bring customers the type of content they crave. It was under her leadership that Shutterstock recently launched its new editorial product—an accomplishment she’s extremely proud of.
“I have to say, it’s awesome to see everybody from the top down working on the floor. It really encourages collaboration and innovation at every turn.”
“The one piece of advice I would give to somebody coming in to interview at Shutterstock is to get ready to work for a company that moves fast, stays true to its word, and communicates with you along the way.”
