Mingni is proud to have attended Gonzaga University, where she was part of the school’s first Bachelor of Science nursing program graduate class. After graduation, Mingni spent a year training in Spokane, Washington before taking off as a traveling nurse. She’s worked in pediatric units across the country, but none have compared to Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Mingni’s day starts at 7 AM with a team huddle when the nurse on duty gives staff an overview of the patients on the floor and the doctors on shift. After getting a lay of the land, she begins her morning rounds and then spends the rest of her day doing what she does best—caring for patients.
“It’s really something different when you find a place where you feel safe and understood—where you have a really effective working relationship with your peers.”
“I genuinely feel like I’m supported and have the resources that I need here. I genuinely feel like I work around people who make me smarter, challenge me, and support me. This is a place where I know I can grow.”
