Mocashetta gained a dual BS in mechanical engineering and physics before working with NASA to develop methods for agriculture in microgravity environments. Following her time with NASA, Mocashetta’s engineering path took her through aerospace with the FAA—then to the automotive industry—before finding Saint-Gobain, where the work gives her both pride and satisfaction.
Each day for Mocashetta begins at with a quick evaluation of the day’s most pressing concerns. She prioritizes problems, finds solutions, and sets off to the production floor to ensure all operations are carried out, safely and smoothly. Mocashetta constantly observes workflow, implementing innovations to improve efficiency and eliminate wasteful processes.
