A lot of companies tout work/life balance, but at Rubicon Project, the proof is in the staff who come to work every day ready to tackle any project. Without having to worry about bringing work home, staff can unwind after hours, and some like Paulo use their off time to explore new technologies that they then bring back to Rubicon Project. Now that’s a win-win.
After biking to work, Paulo makes himself breakfast in Rubicon Project’s fully stocked kitchen. He then writes a to-do list for the day and answers emails. After cranking away on his programming tasks for a few hours, Paulo takes a break to walk around campus. With a clear head, he returns to the office to code a bit more before wrapping up for the day.
"I like that one of the main goals of the leadership is to keep everyone informed. The level of transparency here is great because if you know where you are going as an organization, it’s much easier to get there."
"We look for individuals who are passionate, genuine, and sincere and who want to build something great and be part of a fast moving team that works together to get something done."
"I love working here. For me, where I’m at as an individual, it’s really perfect for my work/life balance, which makes me really happy."
