Anna studied environmental science in college, but her path to Rubicon wasn’t exactly planned. After seeing publicity about the company in her hometown—which she shares with the founder—Anna immediately appreciated the huge undertaking to redo things in an old industry. Though she didn’t have sales experience, working alongside leaders enabled Anna to grow into the role fast.
Anna’s mornings start with cold calls—she looks at each one as an opportunity to make a big impact on the environment. The biggest challenge of her role is getting people to rethink waste and recycling, which means standard sales approaches don’t always work. That’s why Anna was elected to join the company’s Innovation Team—to reform strategies that target and serve customers better.
