After graduating from Cornell University, Evan moved to Hong Kong to work in equity sales. He became interested in startups and learned of Rocketrip after returning to New York. The company’s premise appealed to him—and so did the idea of applying behavioral economics to disrupt an industry that hadn’t changed in a long time.

A typical day for Evan involves researching companies that would be interested in using Rocketrip’s platform to lower their business travel costs. His role is both research-heavy and client-facing, as he focuses both on uncovering new companies to target and on building rapport with potential clients via email correspondence and phone.
