Zack studied psychology—but his mother worked in technology and thought he would enjoy product design and user experience. She was right, so Zack headed back to school to get a master’s degree in the field before taking on full-time user experience roles around the Bay Area. A few years into his career, Zack was recruited by Reside.
Zack heads into a morning standup meeting before diving into his design work. Since he’s the sole designer on the team, Zack gets to move fast and make big decisions—but he doesn’t make them on a whim. Instead, Zack sets up regular meetings with users and engineers to gather feedback that inspires new features. In fact, at this point, Zack has redesigned the entire application.
