Chris’s Story
On Board With Anonymity
After completing a master’s degree in computer science, Chris launched a startup in North Carolina—but it wasn’t so easy. So he moved to San Francisco to learn the ropes, and happened to meet the co-founders of Reside. Though the company was still nameless at the time, Chris believed in the business model, so he came aboard to help bring the vision to life.

What Chris Does
Director of Engineering
Chris facilitates the agile process, starting with daily stand-ups at 10 AM. From there, he may be giving feedback on engineer proposals, helping solve technical problems, diving into code on his own, or researching new tools for their React and Firebase stack. Though he’s focused on enabling his team to keep up the one-week sprint pace, Chris also interfaces with the Product Team to make sure designs are built for the future.
