Public transit was part of Dan’s daily life, growing up in New York City. After earning a dual degree in computer science and business, Dan wanted to find work that used technology in ways that were sustainable and yielded positive value. He accepted a fellowship at Code For America, where he met his co-founders, and together, they launched Remix.

After arriving at 9 AM, Dan completes outstanding code reviews before attending a stand-up with the Engineering Team. Dan’s mornings vary—he may devote time to hiring,or spend time writing software. For lunch, Dan and his team eat somewhere in San Francisco’s Mission neighborhood. Once he’s back at the office, Dan likes to spend the afternoons coding away.
