While Sean was studying management information systems at the University of Arizona, he got a call from a former manager who told him that Rain Bird was hiring a few temporary positions that would be a good fit for him and offer him flexibility as a student. Sean got the job, and remained a temporary employee until he finished his degree and was brought on as a permanent hire—and he’s now been with the company for 13 years.
As a Marketing Group Manager, Sean is responsible for all of the sales and marketing functions related to Rain Bird’s commercial control systems. With the help of his team, he guides the development of the next generation of irrigation control systems that aim to solve problems for Rain Bird's customers.
