Born and raised in downtown Detroit, Aliciajewell earned a business degree from the University of Michigan. After graduation, she dove into programming and product testing work at Accenture, where she felt invigorated by the 70-hour weeks. She then moved on to nonprofit project management work—before making her way to Quicken Loans.
As she settles in every morning, Aliciajewell checks her email and makes sure all of the team’s internal tools are working. Next up is a team stand-up to set goals for the day. She spends the rest of her afternoon making sure Quicken Loans staff have access to metrics that help them perform their jobs better.
