Every few months, Quartet rolls out a new initiative to encourage team bonding. A recent program challenged teams to participate and compete in exercise and wellness challenges. People were spontaneously doing jumping-jacks or pushups during meetings—and doing squat reps while working. Employees say that it keeps things around the office fun and light.
Despite having several remote offices, Quartet fosters a family-like culture. Colleagues across the country connect through Google Hangouts, Slack, and most often phone calls, though flying into headquarters is always welcome. Teams will typically go to dinner, attend sporting events, head to concerts or the opera, or bring out their inner rockstar at karaoke outings.
“The people here want to transform the mental health care system, and they see a real purpose in that. We share our wins—we share in that satisfaction. I’m really excited to come to work because I know that I’m going to be part of something I’m proud of.”
“The leadership style here is very honest, and I think that managers push their team to do the best they can. Everyone here is driven to solve this issue and is really open to feedback.”
