Phim found a way to lend her creative talents to the political landscape by studying advertising and political science. After graduating, she headed right to a public affairs firm, where she explored—and made a mark in—the world of new business design. Eventually, Phim wanted to stretch her skills, and POLITICO’s storytelling and business design philosophy was exactly what she hoped to find.
Phim uses innovative storytelling techniques to build trust between stakeholders and internal business plans. To achieve this, she begins each project with a pitch or proposal assembled in collaboration with account managers. After noting challenges, Phim and her Creative Director use storyboarding to iron out details, improve the end result, and ensure that there’s a strategy behind every new creation.
