After two decades at Reuters and National Journal, Kristin joined POLITICO to help lead coverage of the 2016 presidential race. She earned her degrees from Georgetown University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and brought her expertise to POLITICO, where she brings honest and insightful coverage to the rough-and-tumble world of political journalism.

Kristin is at work by 9 AM, already up-to-date with any breaking news from the night before. She leads a high-profile daily meeting with several editors and reporters to help guide, shape, and strengthen the day’s coverage. She also works with the Business Development Team to implement and market editorial product launches.
