Amanda is a Boston University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a statistics minor. Her interest in statistics was amplified after college and later obtained a master’s degree in public health from Drexel University. Amanda left the healthcare industry and joined Persado to expand her statistics and data science repertoire.
Amanda’s week depends on the urgency and sheer number of campaign projects the Data Science Team is involved in. She provides leading recommendations to clients so that they can receive realistic data in return. She also develops dashboard reports to monitor progress so clients know how they’re doing and what needs improvement.
“What I love about the culture here is that there isn’t this rigid hierarchy where everyone knows their place in the company. Within the first month of joining the team, you get to attend a board meeting and build this instant bond.”
“To be truly successful here, you’ve got to be comfortable and eager to learn what other teams are doing, because you need to understand how all the moving parts of an organization work to really do the very best you can.”
