The management style at PCORI is all about collaboration and flexibility. Employees often have the opportunity to work across a number of different teams on a diverse range of projects, sometimes with hands-on leaders and others times with lots of autonomy. In this way, individuals are able to find the stride that works for them.
PCORI, the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization authorized by Congress to fund research that will help patients and those who care for them make informed healthcare decisions. It does this by supporting studies of which approaches to care work best, for whom, and under which circumstances, based on questions most important to patients and others across the healthcare community. Its goal is to improve patient care and outcomes by increasing the quantity, quality, and timeliness of useful, trustworthy information that can help patients make better choices about their healthcare options.
