With 15 paid days off each year, unlimited sick time, and three months paid leave for new parents, Pandora staff enjoy having time to spend with friends, family, and themselves. Time spent at work is also full of amazing perks, like Pride Marches, Diwali festivals, Bring Your Kids To Work days, and live in-office music performances. On top of that, the Pandora Employee Resource Groups (PERGs) allow employees to create interest groups to share their passions with co-workers.
Music is the soul of the company, and Pandora has many opportunities for employees to connect with music they love—whether it’s catching a performance in the offices or playing instruments with co-workers. Several offices host intimate, stripped-down sessions for employees, from artists across all styles of music and comedy—past sets include Miguel, Mat Kearny, Lucius, Ian Karmel, and Shiny Toy Guns.
“A lot of people at Pandora are very humble about their talent and the things that they get done. It‘s pretty amazing to be working with people that don‘t have egos. We have people that want to get the job done well and are willing to work with each other towards the bigger purpose of the company.”

“Every employee gets 40 hours of volunteer time off which they can use for individual causes. We also organize groups of employees to go and volunteer at a local school in Oakland as well as around the country in support of our music education initiatives.”
