At Carnegie Mellon, Alisa learned the ins and outs of decision science—which combined statistics with psychological theories. From there, her path into technology came when one of PagerDuty’s original ambassadors introduced her to the company. Though it was still very small, Alisa loved the mission and joined in a support role before taking on more responsibility as the team grew.

Alisa heads to the office at 8:30 AM and pops in the kitchen for bagels and coffee. After checking her emails, she digs into milestone projects—like helping sales representatives to learn a new way of using a quoting system—by preparing the operations needed to make transitions successful. Then, she checks with the Billing Engineering Team to ensure all coding and financial processes are correct.
