Yen learned the ins and outs of human development while attending Pennsylvania State University. After completing her degree, Yen worked as an Appeals Coordinator for a different health company—until a future colleague reached out to her online. One interview later, Yen knew she would build her career at Open Systems, and she started a week later.
Yen manages 11 internal employees and nearly 400 caregivers—so in between sales calls, she’s checking up on recruiters, nurses, and HR coordinators to monitor quality. Part of this undertaking is overseeing credentials to keep all staff compliant and prepared to accommodate the influx of new customers Yen helps research and bring in through phone and email prospecting.
