Michael studied political science at Bates College—but it was helping take care of his grandmother that sparked his interest in home care. After graduating, Michael was referred to Open Systems by a friend—and the recommendation was spot on. Michael joined as a recruiter and held positions at several different branches before being promoted to his current role.

Michael manages the daily workflows of account executives and recruiters who operate in the mid-Atlantic region. By focusing on strategic target areas, Michael facilitated the expansion into the Washington, DC metro area—which brought more opportunity to learn the nuances of state regulations. When Michael isn’t assisting with policy and procedures, he arranges special team initiatives—like monthly Leader Board celebrations.
