Before taking off to Germany as a Fulbright Scholar, Erin studied German language and literature at Rutgers. Her experiences overseas fostered a passion for helping people—which became even more amplified once she returned home and saw her grandfather getting care from a home health agency. Once Erin realized she could blend these interests, she applied to OSH because of their hybrid roles and the opportunity to work in HR.
Erin’s role involves a lot of variety, so she gets a lot of opportunities to learn on the go. Though she’s taken on projects like navigating compliance for overtime, restructuring compensation plans, and revamping the onboarding process, Erin’s main goal is keeping Open Systems in good standing from a legal perspective—and so her colleagues and the people they support are safe and happy.
