Sonia's childhood hobby of creating fun games with arts and crafts influenced her dreams of becoming a game inventor, and the 90's dot-com bubble bursting drove her creative interests towards interactive technology—an ever-evolving field with an exciting learning curve. During her professional career, Sonia gravitated towards a variety of interactive production jobs from non-profit to client-focused—bringing a well-rounded perspective to Omnigon's multi-faceted projects.
Starting the day with a Stand-Up Meeting gets Sonia's team focused and ready to tackle upcoming projects strategically. Throughout the day, Sonia keeps in touch with clients, detailing project progress and answering questions about the process. She responds to emails—keeping both colleagues and clients informed with status updates—and holds in-person meetings with teams, checking in regularly to help projects move forward smoothly.
“Micromanagement is a big no-no here. Everyone is given an opportunity to thrive and show how amazing they are at the career path that they’ve chosen.”
"The ideal candidate at Omnigon has a really strong sense of how to resolve conflicts. Being able to be patient with diverse teams, to express yourself and support a firm opinion, and to communicate effectively to reach a resolution is key."
