After studying psychology and journalism, Tom began copywriting and creating content for an advertising agency before transitioning to writing for local news. When he was ready for something different, he reached out to Odyssey about his passion—giving a voice to people to enable them to tell their stories.
Tom works with many of Odyssey’s local communities across the country. Whether he’s coaching a local editor-in-chief or a content creator, Tom helps his teams with everything from editing stories to audience growth strategies and social media tips. Tom took the initiative to launch Odyssey’s external newsletter, which highlights to readers and stakeholders examples of well-performing and diversified stories each week.
