Desiree has been involved in performing arts from a young age. She took dance lessons as a child and taught and choreographed for theaters and theme parks in San Antonio. Desiree first crossed paths with Oak Island Creative at a theme park she was working at, and she joined after being introduced to the company through a friend.

Desiree is stationed at Oak Island Creative's San Antonio field office. After a client comes to the team with an event request, Desiree oversees taking the blank slate of the event venue and turning it into a fully immersive creative experience. She often brainstorms with team members across the country, establishing event layouts and themes.

“One of my favorite projects was the San Antonio Zoo lights projects. We brought the zoo to life for the holidays with very colorful zoo-themed areas. We had colorful lights, animal prints, and even bubbles and snow.”
