Making A Switch
Tes began her career as an electrical engineer after graduating from college. Luckily, she had contacts at Northrop Grumman who persuaded her to give the application process a go. After she was hired, her leadership abilities shined even brighter than her technical skills—so she was trained as a project manager while earning her MBA.

Tes’s duties encompass everything from overseeing program finances to teaming with engineers to learn the ins and outs of radars. She collaborates with almost every technical team involved with internal research and designs to support the warfighter. She also takes to the air herself to visit other West Coast sites for special projects.
