An Engineer’s Path
While studying electrical engineering at Howard University in Washington, DC, De’Shawnn landed two software engineering internships at Northrop Grumman—first in Information Systems, and next in Activity-Based Intelligence. His internship performance was so impressive that he was offered a full-time position, and after graduation, he joined Northrop Grumman as an electrical engineer in the company’s Cyber Division.

De’Shawnn’s days are spent collaborating with different teams to develop new technical ideas, in addition to using collaborative tools to maintain the technical community within Northrop Grumman. He works with virtual technology and video-teleconferencing centers to support the development and execution of the Cyber Division Global Concept of Operations.
