David’s Story
The First Employee
David has been with No-IP since the very beginning, in 2000. He and CEO Dan Durrer were computer science students together at Sonoma State University. Dan started the company in his apartment, and he and David would bounce off ideas off of one another. When No-IP expanded, David got on board as its first employee.

What David Does
Chief Software Architect
David spends a considerable amount of his time each day writing code in various languages, such as PHP, to get projects done. He then creates and redefines product roadmaps to understand how the company’s product line will mature over the long-term—and helps the Development Team stay on track with that roadmap.

“No-IP’s a very small company, but every single person on our team has the opportunity to shape our culture, technologies, and the direction of the company’s future.”

“Everybody loves what they do, and we do what we want to do here at No-IP. It’s very easy to be excited about working here—I would probably do it even if it wasn’t my job.”
