Jennifer’s Story
A Formative Beach Day
Jennifer’s parents took her on a family beach vacation when she was five—and she’s been in love with marine life ever since. Jennifer entered college as a pharmacy student before deciding to pursue environmental studies and biology. After graduating, she volunteered with the Aquarium’s Animal Rescue Team before landing a full-time role.

What Jennifer Does
Manager Of Animal Rescue
Jennifer’s day is all about making sure the animals at the Aquarium’s Rehabilitation Center are cared for well. She usually spends several hours working with the Animal Health Department to coordinate animal feedings, treatment schedules, and water changes. If she has time after tending to the animals, Jennifer also spends some time working on fundraising.
