Advice From A Mentor
Lilian earned both her bachelor’s and master’s in civil engineering with a specialty in Water Resources Engineering from Florida International University. Determined to strike the balance of technical work and giving back to the community, she was mentored by Engineers Without Borders, who made her aware of MWH. Lilian applied for an internship, and after graduation, was invited to join full-time—she now looks forward to mentoring other new employees.

What Lilian Does
Civil Engineer
Lilian launches her day by reviewing incoming communications and identifying urgent issues that may have arisen overnight. With projects at varying stages of development, she divides her time among on-site client meetings and field inspections, design support, and Young Professional Group activities that attract new talent to the team. In between, she takes charge of the Miami office’s intern program.
