Brazilian born, Felipe came to the United States to study environmental engineering at the University of Miami. With a bachelor’s degree in hand, followed by a master’s from the University of Florida, he was eager to put his knowledge to work. Hired as a sub-consultant for MWH—as a field engineer for a pilot wastewater treatment plan—Felipe’s talents were spotted quickly, and MWH recruited him to the team.
Felipe crafts the processes and plans that ensure clean water is delivered to communities day after day. Between on-site treatment plant visits and in-office design coordination with senior engineers and structural designers, he customizes pump, pipe, tank, and blowers to rigorous MWH standards, working as if the future depended on it—and it does.
