Daphnee studied systems engineering in Venezuela before starting her career as a software developer. After earning her master’s degree and working in Spain, Daphnee moved to London, where she was drawn to Medidata’s innovative culture. Her desire to apply her technical skills to clinical research led her to apply for a job at the company.
Because Daphnee is passionate about technology, she finds it easy to wake up and head to work each morning. At the office, Daphnee frequently takes advantage of opportunities to improve clinical research by using her technical skills. Almost every day, she learns something new at work, which is one benefit of working alongside talented people.
“The most challenging part of my job is persuading people to adopt my ideas, because in technology, there are so many talented people. You need to be able to present your ideas and convince other people to get on board. I like being challenged to do it.”
“My manager is always available to offer coaching and advice, but also gives me space to make my own decisions.”
