During the interview process, Robert met with multiple people to discuss the problems the company was trying to solve. These conversations got Robert hooked on helping MediaRadar overcome challenges, and he was thrown right into a big project in his first week—creating a new web browser. Robert has since taken on increasingly complex projects, establishing himself as a leader of the Dev Team.
Robert heads up the Internal Development Team, which focuses on finding new things to data mine—how to source it, manage it, and overview it before it’s turned into a product for clients. He helps new developers train and find projects that match their skill sets while making sure everyone is growing in directions they’re interested in.
“Since the day I started here, I'm constantly looking at something big to work on—something that's really going to change the company.”
“We’re small enough that you have ownership of whatever you're working on. And if you come up with a good idea of what we should work on next and where the room for improvement is, everybody will throw in behind you.”
"If you see something we can be doing better, mention it immediately."
