As a McKinsey Associate, Fope has consulted with companies from just about every industry. Whether explaining the best way to manage a HIV program to a Minister of Health or helping a retail bank’s CEO improve its customer service, working at McKinsey exposes employees to a wide array of companies and professional experiences that is virtually unparalleled—and always dynamic.
What Fope Does
Fope spends her days addressing her clients’ needs. At any given time, she’ll have one client—and a specific business issue—to focus on. Under the McKinsey model of working side-by-side with clients, this means frequent travel, typically Monday through Thursday, to meet clients and spend time in their offices. When not with clients, Fope can be found planning ahead for the project or engaging in intensive problem-solving sessions, where the McKinsey team shares findings, brings in input from McKinsey experts, and brainstorms approaches and next steps to the problem at hand.
