Thuy studied marketing with a specialization in environmental science before working in actual environmental agency roles. Along the way, she learned more about sales and decided to cross into the real estate industry—without completely leaving science behind. Once she found Matthews REIS, Thuy had the opportunity to apply her analytical skills to the kind of fast-moving industry she was interested in.
Though digging into data is the name of her game, Thuy spends a lot of time interacting with agents to chart things like workload, call volumes, and issues with deals—often turning gut feelings into data-backed insights. After compiling this information, Thuy takes her findings to the company’s executives—where they adjust or develop strategies to improve operations.
