Minnie’s Story
Opportunity Plus Passion
After her time as a math major, Minnie’s long nights with calculators and equations paid off—she launched a career in finance that led to positions with Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan. She first dabbled in MBS due diligence and loan underwriting, which led her into structured finance asset management. Minnie was then introduced to Matthews’ CEO—who was looking for the right addition to help build out the asset management suite.

What Minnie Does
Director of Asset Services
Minnie starts her day reading emails and industry news before taking a similar approach to agents, building out presentations to inform prospective clients about how asset services can support development or large-scale projects. Aside from helping create processes and the asset service platform, the trickiest part of Minnie’s job is finding the right kind of funding for a client in each unique market.

“What sets Matthews apart from other commercial real estate companies is, hands down, the technology—but our marketing also has a huge impact on being first in line for the competition.”
