Sharon studied finance and economics at the University of Texas in Austin, then went into hospitality after graduation, working for several years at a major hotel chain. After deciding she needed a personal lifestyle change to improve her work-life balance, Sharon leveraged her economics and finance background to become a workforce manager, eventually finding her way to Mercer.

The Global Workforce Management Team is 25 analysts strong, broken into functional teams, comprised of a Forecasting Capacity Planning Team, a Scheduling Team, a Real-time Team, and a WFM Reporting Team, which support eight contact centers around the globe—and over 900 colleagues. For Sharon and her team, this means that each day brings a new challenge to solve.
