Robynn was working as an administrator for a mining supply company when she realized her passion for meticulous, analytical problem solving. Looking for a way forward, she began researching coding programs and was impressed by the focus on back-end architecture offered by Lighthouse’s curriculum. Robynn enrolled without any prior programming experience and hasn’t looked back.
Every Lighthouse bootcamp program ends with a demo day for students to show off their newly acquired skills. When Robynn was a student, she designed an app to map the street art of Toronto, creating a user-generated guide to the living gallery of the city. Impressing those in attendance, she was offered a job on the spot.
