Matineh earned a master’s degree in engineering and construction management. After completing that program, she went on to study for a PhD in civil engineering at Carnegie Mellon. During that time, she met a part-time professor who happened to be the CEO of kWantera, and soon, Matineh was working with the company full time.
Matineh’s mornings are usually spent making sure all scheduled deliverables are running on time and without issue. In the afternoon, she works on developing models for new programs and features while troubleshooting any issues that pop up. Matineh also keeps her eyes open for an occasional nerf dart that might fly by her desk during the day.
