Amit’s Story
COMING TO KNOTEL
As a startup lawyer, Amit has extensive experience working with entrepreneurs and growing companies. One of the common problems many of his clients had was signing on to expensive 10-year leases for space, even though they had no idea what their business would look like in two or three years. Naturally, Amit was drawn to Knotel and its solution of offering flexible terms and branded environments for businesses to grow and thrive.

Amit’s work is largely legal-focused. He advises the company on the risks involved in Knotel’s strategic efforts to grow, implements terms of service for new members, and establishes guidelines for Knotel employees to follow as the company grows and changes. Though he’s a lawyer, Amit touches upon a variety of aspects of Knotel, from operations and finance to community outreach initiatives—and even mentoring younger Knotel employees.

“I never thought I would be working at a company doing this, but I’m here because the folks are really dynamic—the problem we’re solving is a really complex and important one. It’s the most fun I’ve had in a startup environment in my entire career—and I’ve been doing this for 10 years.”
