James took his first position at Koons—as a lot porter—while still in high-school, and he was so enamored by the atmosphere and the people that he knew he’d have to return. Return he did, in a sales role a few years later. Thrilled by the competitive nature of the business, James stayed with Koons, rising up through the ranks to become GM.
James begins each day by meeting with various teams throughout the dealership—from Sales to Service—to review issues, set goals, and develop strategies for the day. Under his guidance, the location has become the number one Jeep dealer in the Mid-Atlantic region, and he has plans to rank on top nationwide within the next few years.
