Ted has loved games ever since he was a child. Unlike most kids, his entertainment became a passion to create. At eight, he begged his father for an Apple II, confident he’d build a game and make a million. It didn’t quite happen then, but he’s since fulfilled that childhood ambition many times over with Insomniac.
As the Founder and CEO of the company, it’s Ted’s job to survey the landscape, develop a vision for the future, and lead the way. Guiding the company with a culture of transparency and collaboration, Ted hosts daily company-wide Ask-Me-Anythings to banish uncertainty and ensure everybody knows what decisions are being made and why.
“What I love most about my job is being able to come into Insomniac and be surrounded by people who are passionate about the worlds, the characters, and the stories that we create. Just being a part of that energizes me.”
“In the game world, you have to take risks all the time. You have to constantly innovate if you’re going to create something that players are going to be interested in. You really can’t repeat yourself again and again.”
