Barbara obtained her first bachelor’s degree in retail management from Kent State University. However, she hit a career plateau and decided to get her second degree in information systems from the University of Akron. Barbara has elevated from a database administrator to IT Director in her new career path, and she hasn’t looked back since.
Barbara expects to attend morning meetings when she arrives, but there is no typical day in IT. Barbara routinely checks that all company servers are up and running—and then goes on to resolve client requests. She also collaborates with the Account Management and Leadership Teams to recognize a holistic view of the company.
“It’s really a privilege to be a director and be surrounded by all these amazing people at InfoCision. I started out as a database administrator here, so I know what my team goes through with our clients.”
“We desire job candidates who are outgoing, aren’t afraid to speak their minds, and know where they want to be in the company and in the future.”
