Before racking up nearly two decades of experience in engineering and development, Daniel completed a degree in physics and cut his technology teeth at large enterprises. When he was recruited by the president of IDSS, Daniel was thrilled to step away from intricate corporate hierarchies for the opportunity to do more across the board—and faster.
Daniel spends half his time managing timelines and prioritizing projects to meet safety and passenger experience requirements of customers. Once he’s organized, Daniel regroups with his team for a morning meeting before doing individual work—like writing and testing software. Though he loves digging into projects, like the carry-on explosive detector, Daniel oversees up to four projects at once.
