As a Penn and MIT graduate, Bijal started out as a management consultant, focused on using data and analytics to set marketing and sales strategies. Later, at Visa, she developed a passion for using data to drive innovation. Bijal heard about Ibotta through “Built in Colorado,” and after one phone conversation, she knew it’d be the perfect fit for her strategic and analytical pursuits.
A strategic thinker, Bijal spends her time assisting teammates in framing the right questions, seeking insight and answers, explaining the power of data to clients, and implementing methods to democratize the use of data across the organization. Each day presents new challenges and each challenge is a new opportunity—and Bijal meets them all head on.
“No idea is a small idea. No idea is a bad idea. At any given time, you have people from around the company coming together to solve a problem. A good idea can come from anywhere.”
“We’re disrupting an industry that’s had a legacy way of doing things, and as we do that, we’re also utilizing data in new and really innovative ways. So I’m most excited to see how the applications of that data create a new way of looking at, and doing, things, inside and even outside the industry.”
