With a bachelor’s in biology, Peter originally planned to attend medical school. However, realizing that route was not for him, Peter took an internship with a pharmaceutical company. A few weeks in, the organization underwent a merger involving IBM, and pretty soon, Peter was an IBM employee—and loving it.
Over the last 20 years, Peter has worked in a variety of roles at IBM, and he also earned a master’s in social work during that time—with the company’s full encouragement. Peter draws on that experience in his current position in leadership development as he coaches people and works to enhance team clarity and cohesion.
