To showcase the accomplishments of each team, HP Vancouver recently hosted a company-wide Innovation Fair. Since several products are being developed out of the Vancouver office, the event helped employees learn about various products in the pipeline and discover what each team is working on. The fair was followed by a beer bust at the new Vancouver site building—exemplifying HP’s rich tradition of celebrating its employees and rewarding them for their contributions.
HP’s Vancouver office boasts nearly endless opportunities for cross-team bonding. Employees can join groups like the Young Engineer Network to plan everything from inter-office sports teams to happy hours and off-site ski trips for the entire team to enjoy. Within the office, people foster close bonds, working together in pods and taking care of Dean Gaylor—a plant that grows in the office, universally loved by the team.
