Prior to joining HomeAdvisor, Mia did due diligence research and worked as an L.A. matchmaker—a background that prepped her for finding and building HomeAdvisor's special workforce. Mia started at HomeAdvisor as a recruiter, working cohesively with the Director of Sales before assuming her combined roles in human resources and recruiting—where she mixes and matches for culture fit and hires and inspires growth and professional fulfillment.
Mia has one to four face-to-face interviews with potential candidates per day—primarily working to fill available Sales Team positions and increasing the numbers of HomeAdvisor Sales Teams. Between screening and meeting new hires and supporting the professional growth of current employee careers, Mia's specifically tasked with growing HomeAdvisor's top talent—and preserving its one-of-a-kind culture.
