When HireVue was in its infancy, the company landed some large-scale clients who required French support. Reaching out to the MBA program manager at the University of Utah for a couple recruits, the company was recommended Oumar’s cousin. Set on another career path, however, he called on Oumar to apply for the position in his place.
Oumar’s days depend largely on what stage of the hiring process each department is undergoing. He recruits top talent to the team, conducts interviews, on-boards, and oversees the continued training and development of every employee. It’s his goal to enable each person to reach the personal and professional goals they set for themselves when they start.
