Tracy’s Story
A Fortunate Inconvenience
Tracy studied architecture for her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, but the latter had a focus in architectural design. While attending the program, her class was held at HED because there wasn’t enough space on campus. Luckily, that opened Tracy’s eyes to a future at HED—after becoming licensed several years later, she came back to work at the company.

Tracy's duties encompass a lot. A self-described Ninja, when she's not sketching for a slew of project and structure types, she's working on marketing proposals or visiting project sites. But she still has plenty of time to participate in office shenanigans—like the team’s Finish2Fashion Show entry, which had Tracy modeling a fashion made from furniture and interiors materials.

“I’m always proudest of projects where clients end up becoming friends. There’s always schedules and budgets—but sometimes it comes together as so much more.”
