Mohamed studied architecture and building science in college, where he also made pals who had interned at HED. He ultimately launched his career elsewhere, but after hearing about the company’s projects and green direction, he couldn’t resist joining the team. In less than a year after starting, Mohamed had already taken the lead on big projects.
Mohamed's reach extends beyond designing and overseeing residential and student housing developments—he's also involved in the RFP process and serves as a member of HED's Sustainable Design Champions task force. Despite his multifaceted role, Mohamed still manages to successfully coordinate consultants and sync up building plans—like he did for the new 30-acre "The Village" at USC.
